Perform OCR on Photographs

I would like to perform OCR on a large number of jpg photographs.  The photos have textual information (photographer, date, caption, etc) that I would like to be able to search.  Because there are a large number of images (+1 million) I do not really want to have a JPG and PDF for each image.  Ideally, I would like to perform OCR and extract the text to an spreadsheet, or embed the text into the photo to make it searchable.  Is there an Adobe product that has this ability?  Open to other suggestions as well.  Thanks!

Not really. Acrobat can't handle this amount of files in a single process.

You need to look for professional-grade OCR software. I don't believe Adobe offers such a tool.
