Perpetual Licence

I bought a perpetual licence for Adobe Acrobat DC, which I can transfer to a new PC provided I deactivate it from my old PC, an easy thing to do UNLESS the old PC is dead (due to water ingress). Adobe can deativate it, but due to a "new policy", they won't. Now I am invited to subscribe or purchase a new "perpetual" licence.

If Adobe wishes to exist in perpetuity, it might like to remember that it has defined it as 9 years.

Acrobat DC is subscription based.

It may be not what you want to hear, but if you can't desactivate, the license will be hooked eternally to the dead device.
