Photos in my magazine have been printing very dark lately. This is only in the past month or so. Before this, everything looked fine. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I started a Lynda course where the instructor says to use North American Pre-Press2 color setting instead of North American General Purpose2. I also tried to follow his intructions on converting RGB images to CMYK, as I think it's possible that may be the problem. When I follow his instructions, which require that I create a Multipurpose Channer, it looks worse on screen than if I just convert directly from RGB to CMYK. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi

can you confirm the exact version of the software and your operating system. A couple of screenshots might help us understand better your issue.

Can you also list the exact steps you are taking to help us recreate the issue. Can you tell us if you updated anything recently.

Have you tried to calibrate your screen, and load the colour profile of your printer?
