Pitstop won't work

I had to reload my mac from backup time machine. When I open a pdf in Acrobat 2020 and try to use pitstop 2019 it does not work.
I reloaded my license key and it shows as active. But every time I try to use pitstop it just goes back to the license screen that shows that it is active.
Any ideas on get them talking to each other??  Running mac High Serria 10.13.6

Hi @robb marshall ,

I am curious  why did you have to reload macOS using Time Machine? What happened if I may ask...

Since you've reset your macOS through time machine, it would make sense to me that updates are missing.

I would update  the OS first. And see how it goes.

My second best guess would be, to backup your PDF files, and unistall/reinstall both products (Acrobat and Pitstop), in order to bring them to their current versions.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
