Question

Please enable AI Assistant in "old Acrobat"

I like AI Assistant, but simply can not use "new acrobat."  Would you please enable the use of AI Assistant in "old acrobat?"  As an alternative, perhaps consider making "new acrobat" look and behave like "old acrobat" so all of us could actually use it.

Thank you. 🙂

Hi @sunshine_9766

Thanks for reaching out.

We would appreciate it if you filled out a feature request to have this feature available on previous versions of Acrobat.

In the meantime, if you have an Acrobat AI subscription, you can use it with the Adobe Reader freeware app, and you can use it with Acrobat Web: https://adobe.ly/40N7ifJ

Hi, Tariq,

It was hard enough to find the place that I did make the request - I had to
use AI to find it, ironically. I did search for a place to make a feature
request. Where you found my post was the only place that ChatGPT and I
found. I would be happy to make my request elsewhere if you will provide a
link.

I have the newest version of Acrobat Pro DC. What I meant was the
interface. The "new" interface is terrible. I, and many other users, have
elected to "disable new Acrobat," so that we can use the software with the
tools in reachable and logical places. However, selecting this option
disables the AI assistant.

What I am hoping for is that the AI assistant will continue to function in
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, even if the "new" Acrobat interface is disabled.
(Using quotes, because the "new" Acrobat is at least two years old, right?)

I totally agree with you,

As you know, this requires a product change, which can be done by product engineering. Please use this link: https://adobe.ly/44NJx8m to raise a feature request.

Let me know if you have any further questions
