pop up fill and sign box

Hi,

We are working on getting away from printers and our last steps  for doing so is updating a few of our forms so that clients can use the touch screen on the field workers laptop to sign. What I am running into is that I have no idea how to do this. When I add a signature box in the form editor and then goto preview it only shows a regular text field. What I want it to do is pop up with the regular "Fill and Sign" field so that they can quickly add their signatures. I am able to add it so that digital signature box pops up but not the other.

Thanks!

Hi, I will not claim to be an expert in Acrobat and signatures but when you are creating a PDF using Acrobat and add a "Signature" field that is intended to use a "Digital Signature" which it does not sound like is what you want...  The terminology can be confusing, but I assume you just want an "electronic signature".  If you simply add a text field there with the label you want (Sign here or whatever) in Acrobat creating the form then anyone using the "Fill & Sign" tool (either in Acrbobat/Reader or on the web) can add a signature to the field - these would be electronic signatures created from either text, scribble or an image.  You can try using Fill & Sign to add a signature to anywhere in a PDF.  I hope this is helpful.

Thanks,

Josh
