Poster printing larger than 100% causes program to stop responding

I've been trying to print a poster 1000% its size but any time i try to resize the poster over 100% the program just freezes, is it unable to print anything larger than 100%? I've see people post youtube videos printing posters 200% of their size but for some reason mine keeps freezing up. granted i understand it can be a large draw on the program but was really hoping to get a life-sized print out poster of a model.
