PPT Mouse-Over Screen-Tip Hyperlink Preservation

Is there any way to preserve the functionality of a mouse-over screen-tip (text box) hyperlink created in a powerpoint table during the pdf conversion process? Presently, the "link" word is associated with the adobe hand tool, but no pop up text  box.....

If not, is there a relatively straightforward work-around approach?
