Print PDF, 'An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page...'

We have some problems with PDFs generated from our accounting software.

When I want to print it, this error occurs: An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Pleas contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.

If I click on the Button ‘Summarize Comments’ in the Print config the Error doesn’t occurs anymore.

That's not a practical solution to the problem. Is there an explanation what is wrong with this PDF?

Are you able to make adjustments to the accounting software PDF export settings? If so, look for an option to embed the fonts, the default might be to not embed the fonts, which could be the source of the problem.

In Acrobat or Reader you can go to File> Properties> Fonts to check for any unembedded fonts.

I am working with an online accounting program. After I download the pdf of the website and I open in Acrobat, when I click on edit I get the same message. I thought about reinstalling but there is a warning that I will lose all of my files and folders, etc. Does this mean I will lose all of the pdfs generated and saved on my computer from Acrobat? Also, based on your response I checked and all fonts are embedded. Any other thoughts? Your help is appreciated.
