Print to PDF still prints to a .log file

Every time Acrobat updates, I have to reset the preference to UNCHECK "Rely on system fonts only; do not use documetn fonts" in order for it to print correctly to a .pdf file.  

This has been going on for more than 4 years.  I have checked the forum frequently for solutions to this problem.  This is an internal problem with Acrobat that needs to be fixed.  Adobe needs to have this permanently set to UNCHECKED.  Anyone else found a permanent solution to this problem?
