Question

Print window opens when I just want to open a PDF and not print it

Hello,

Sorry for my bad English.

When I open a PDF from my desktop (MacOS Catalina 10.15.7) it opens immediately the print window. I don't know how to stop this ; before, I had to click to select in the toolbar if I wanted to print and it was better. Because now when I want to open different PDFs at the same time, the first one is opened and the print window appears, which blocks the opening of the other ones.

And when I click on "escape" it closes the application, not the window. I have to re open every document one by one.

Hope you can help me,

Thanks from a Frenchie

This is usually the result of a script, embedded in the file.

Do you have Acrobat, or just the free Reader?

Thanks for your answer; It's weird because this had never happened before, and now it appears everytime I open a file.

I have Acrobat (from the company where I work).
