Printer "Adobe PDF" not working

Question

Printing to Adobe PDF is not working. When I try to print a form in Acrobat to Adobe PDF printer, Acrobat freezes ("not responding") for 10 seconds and then the printing progress will show that it went through. However, it doesn't actually save the PDF anywhere. This is happening from Chrome browser too. I've been using Microsoft Print to PDF (in Acrobat) and Print to PDF (in Chrome) as workarounds, but I prefer Adobe PDF.

I have the updated version of Acrobat DC 25.001.20474. Repairing the installation didn't identify or fix the issue.

Sorry for the troubled experience, and thanks for reaching out.

You may try uninstalling Acrobat using the cleaner tool: https://adobe.ly/4ktFIfm. Then, try reinstalling Acrobat and check if the issue persists.
