Printing a blueprint type image in Acrobat causes gibberish to print

Hello,

When printing a pdf file that contains blueprint type images (top down view of buildings) it just prints a single line of gibberish on each page continuously until the printer is either out of paper or you get it to cancel. When you remove the images, the pdf prints completely fine.

I've reset the print drivers, and tried multiple. I've reinstalled acrobat. I've tried running it from a different computer, all do the same thing. The option to 'Print as Image' is grayed out and cannot be selected. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing? Never run into this before and everything I've seen while googling says to hit print as image or to select adobe pdf printer and change settings, but user doesn't have that either.

Any suggestions?

Can't print as an image when 'print in greyscale' is selected. Unselected that, checked off 'print as image' and it worked right away.
