Printing a PDF from Reader 10.1 renders Text and Line Art as only outlines (HP Designjet T120)

Hope I didn't step on any toes with that loooong Title...

I received a Blueprint from my CAD guy in PDF format.

(Just like all his others)

When I tried to print it on my HP Designjet T120 (Reallly big inkjet printer) [from Win7 Pro 64] it printed the whole document with a grey tone.

Switching to "Print as Image" printed None of the document.

Has anybody seen this out there as a function  of Adobe Reader?

Note: I tried to change the Black Cartridge, but both the new & old cartridges printed No Black (whatsoever) on the Print Diagnostic* page.

Print Head Cleaning did not affect.

* That would be a Test Page for every other manufacturer...

Logic would dictate this is some kind of issue with the HP, but I thought I would at least check here.

There is a simple test you can do: Try printing from Word and see what happens.

Try printing an image from Windows. Print as image is essentially that.
