Some PDF documents I receive have many pages imposed on a single sheet. How can I print the results as one single page per each of the compressed items?

If you have an imposed sheet of pages, you can't de-impose it with Acrobat. There are a few work-arounds, if you can't get the pre-imposed pages.

Duplicate the imposed sheet to create a copy of the file, then go to Tools> Organize Pages> Insert. Insert the duplicated file as many times as there are imposed pages, open the new multi-page PDF and crop each page to the individual page sizes.

A better way is to create a new InDesign file to the correct single page size and place the imposed PDF into it, moving the placed file for each page position, then export to a new PDF.

I need to do the reverse procedure. I have the multiples on a single PDF sheet. I wish to print each as a separate item. -- DM Hoffman

Can you describe your issue with greater detail? What do you have multiples of? how do you define a sheet?

It sounds like you might want to print an imposed sheet of many items, AKA a contact sheet or scatter proof.

If you google "contact sheet" you can probably find a method to make a contact sheet suits your needs.

Hi davenah30969580,

If you are referring to print multiple PDF documents on a single sheet, you need to first combine all the PDFs to a single PDF.

Then try to use "Multiple" tab in the Print window.

Please let us know if you are referring to something else.

It would be helpful if you can elaborate about the query you have.
