Printing PDF always Not Responding

Hi, I have a few users who encounter issues when printing PDF files on Adobe Acrobat.

  • Adobe Acrobat goes into "Not responding" state when trying to print.
  • After selecting the print option, Acrobat will spin and won't print until 10-20 minutes later.

 

Note: Users have no issue printing other documents such as Word. App re-installation has been done but issue persist.

 

Can you advise any troubleshooting or setting update which can help improving the print experience from Adobe Acrobat please? Thanks.

    What kind of computers do they have and what Acrobat do they use? What are the print settings? Does Acrobat go into not responding mode for other operations too?

    Hi Abambo.

    • They are using Acrobat Pro DC on Surface devices running on Windows 11.
    • May I know what print settings are you referring to? Basically they are trying to print the PDF files by sending print jobs to printers in the office. 
    • No, Acrobat only goes into not responding when they try to print. Though sometimes it takes a long time to open files which are bigger.
