Hello Acrobat Community. I hope you could shed some light to my problem with Printing to PDF.

I have successfully created PDF Files named “1” and “2”. I try to embed it on the Acrobat File “TEMPLATE BASE”. The first page of the file (CONTROL PAGE) have 2 buttons where you can upload the pdf files “1” and “2”. I have uploaded both files successfully, unfortunately when I PRINT TO PDF, the resulting PDF File named “PRINT” shows random characters.

I have attached the mentioned files.

I hope someone can help me, I tried searching and doing the recommended solutions but nothing changed the results on the print.

Looking forward on the community in shedding some light.

Thank you,

James

How did you create these files? What software and operating systems are involved in processing them? Why are you printing a PDF to PDF? This is usually not necessary - and will in many instances destroy features in PDF files.

    Hi Karl,

Thank you for the reply. The files “1” and “2” were created with Sketchup 2026. I was using Sketchup 2020 for the longest time. Unfortunately, my computer crashed and I decided to install Sketchup 2026 on my new one. I always have been doing the same process of “Exporting to PDF” from Sketchup and didn't have an issue with it before.

I was thinking it was the Font that was creating the issue, so I changed everything to Arial and still the same problem occurs.

    Thank you,

    James
