Problem Between Windows 10 - 1709 and Acrobat XI Standard

Hello:

I purchased Acrobat XI Some years ago and it has always served my needs well. Now, after a forced downgrade to 1709 (both 18xx & 19xx crashed my network), I cannot get Acrobat to run. Each and every time I execute it it fails after about 10 seconds!

I am running 64x, Windows PRO and Acrobat XI Standard.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Tip: be sure to keep all installers and updates safe, Adobe have been closing down the downloads of obsolete software !

One question I have: Can I simply update 23 or do I have to update all the rest first?

Be sure Acrobat XI is updated to 11.0.23. This seems to have fixed it for some. But it’s end of life with unfixed security issues, consider getting up to date.

Where exactly can I locate the update 11.0.23. When I attempt to update from the program, the update fails. But, the other updates I have downloaded (through 11.0.14) work perfectly.
