Problem in setting up customized paper size.

I have e problem setting up my printer for customized papersize. I am using Adobe acrobat reader and when in settings i need to be able to choose customize papersize and not just choose from the alternatives in the list. This is a crusial setting according to the support given me by the supplier of my printer. Please help
