Problem saving changes

I use Acrobat to run reports that I use the highlight feature in. I have been using it for years but just recently it stopped saving my changes. I have checked for updates, amongst other trouble shooting but I cant figure it out. I desperately need this fixed someone help me pls 🙂 Thank you!
