Problem with Page Extracting Post Auto-Update this Morning

My Acrobat auto-updated this morning and now when I extract pages from a pdf it includes the first page of the document unless I unhighlight it. When i go return to the original document it brings me to the first page rather than where I had been as it’s now reading page 1 as my last location in the file.

Restarted after update with no success.  The update is 2026.001.21411

Thanks for any help!

    Hello @Jrosen and @Nuss Nuss

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We’re sorry for the trouble you had.

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: Version: 26.001.21431. Planned update, Apr 14, 2026. Check for any pending updates by navigating to Menu > Help> Check for Updates. Install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

Please note that Acrobat may auto-select the first page if no explicit selection is made.

Use All tools > Organize pages > Extract, explicitly unhighlight page 1 before selecting Extract.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.
