Problemas al querer abrir un archivos PDF

Buenos dias con todos, por favor si me peuden ayudar.

Hace ya un buen tiempo atras(5 años atras) compre un e-book, para realizar mis labores, ahora cuando trato de abrirlo me sale el mensaje:

“Este documento necesita funciones de administarcion de derechos digitales (DRM), compatibles con las ediciones digitales de Adobe.”

Por que puede estar ocurriendo esto.???

    You may need to update the “Adobe Approved Trust List”, or need to contact the author of the e-book.  The author applied a digital certificate (issued by Adobe Digital editions) to the PDF that allows the PDF to be opened when the certificate is validated. It appears that the private key for validating the certificate is either missing or invalid. it could be invalid because it is out of date. 5 years is a common lifetime for a certificate. 

    Try updating the trust list first. Go to the Acrobat Preferences and select the “Trust Manager”.  There might also be some security settings that need changing. 

    Otherwise you may need to get a new PDF from the author.
