Bonjour,

Hi @vincentlt

Thanks for reaching out.

It sounds like Acrobat is printing the file at the wrong scale, rather than this being an issue with the font size inside the document. Font size can only be changed in the original file before printing, but you can adjust how Acrobat prints it, so it fills the page correctly.

Here are a few things to try:

  1. Check “Page Sizing & Handling” in the Print dialog

    • Go to File → Print in Acrobat.

    • Under Page Sizing & Handling, choose Fit (or Shrink oversized pages) instead of “Actual size.”

    • Make sure to choose paper source by PDF page size is unchecked unless your CV was created in a custom page size.

  2. Verify the page orientation

    • If your CV is portrait, set Orientation to Portrait in the Print dialog.

  3. Check the document page size

    • In Acrobat, go to File → Properties → Description and look for Page Size. If it’s much smaller than A4/Letter, it will print small unless scaled.

  4. Try printing from another application

    • If the CV is in Word or another editor, try printing from there to see if the problem is with the PDF itself.

If the PDF's page size is correct and scaling is set to “Fit,” it should print at normal size. If it still prints tiny, the original file may have large white margins or be formatted incorrectly, and editing the source document might be needed. Let us know how it works.

Your PDF has a single page. The size of that page is 595x2612 user space units, i.e. it has an aspect ratio of 1:4.4. To print a page with such an aspect ratio onto a common paper page (A4, LETTER, ...), you either have to cut off a lot or scale it down so much it becomes that small banner.

When creating your CV you should take care and design it with pages with common page dimensions.
