Problems copying/pasting fields so that I can make each field response independent of one another when copying/pasting

First time I am creating a form in PDF document.  I understand how to create different field types. In the form, I will be asking survey takes to rank (1- 5) several hundred things. I created one "1-5 scale" field and then copied it everywhere I needed it.  When I test the form however, what I make for the first selection carries over to everywhere I have copied it.  Is there some properties setting where I can make each field response independent of one another when copying/pasting … so that I don't have to create a separate field each and every time?

Each radio button in a group needs to have the same field name, but the name you use must be different for each group. Acrobat uses the term "Group Name". So you've got some renaming to do.
