Problems Downloading Acrobat to Mac OS Catalina 10.15.2

Can someone tell me if Acrobat 2017 is compatable with MAC OS Catalina 10.15.2?

 

I am trying to download a new install of Acrobat 2017  to my new MacBook Pro and it keeps "hanging up" on the second step of the process. All I get is the spinning color wheel, and the "read me" does not come up.

    Here is the problem I have:

    I was told by Adobe, through their Customer Service email that Acrobat Pro 2017 is not compatible with Mac OS Catalina, and in order to use Acorbat I would have to downgrade my OS to the previous version. (This is unacceptable as I am running a brand new Apple MacBook Pro here!)

     

    Now if I am reading this correctly on this forum, Acrobat 2017  is compatible with Mac OS Catalina?!

     

    SO, I am now confused here. Could somone please advise as to what I can do about this. I would like to use the software that I purchased, but I am not going to downgrade my OS in order to do it.
