Problems using e-signature

I can no longer request e-signatures in the app, or fill and sign in the app.

When I click on the icon, it throws up an error message and closes down the document.

Hi All,

Thank you for your patience so far.

The issue has been addressed in the latest update. Try updating the application to the latest version available. In Acrobat, go to Help > Check for updates. Check if that resolves the issue.

You may also refer to the information on the latest update on the following help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

The same issue when I try to click on "Fill in form fields". Also checked the Security (Enhanced) and disabled the protection on startup.

I ended up contacting online Adobe support, and the IT specialist helped me. It wasnt anything I would have been able to do on my end.

Hi @Lisa28165149wbzn

Sorry for the trouble you are experiencing. As of now, there is no known issue on our end.
Is this happening with more than one file at your end? Would you help us by sending a screenshot of the error you are getting? Have you tried the same workflow on Acrobat Web: https://adobe.ly/3y11OCX

Will be waiting for more information to assist you better.
