Problems with free version after cancelling pay plan

Totally frustrated, after cancelling a pay plan my free version isn't working when I open a file. it opens then shuts down

Sorry for the troubling experience. 
You can try uninstalling Acrobat using the cleaner tool: https://adobe.ly/4fWPYcN and then install Reader freeware PDF Reader: https://adobe.ly/4j2bcsR;

The problem seems to be fixed. Your 2nd link for Adobe reader didn't work,
but I went on line and downloaded it.
