Problems with opening a PDF file scanned from my Epsom printer.

The English PDF file appears on my computer Downloaded files and then when I double click to open it I get the Message " A font package is required to correctly display this page Click O.K. to direct your browser to download the add-on from adobe.com. If I click on O.K. I get a screen which tells me to download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack Continuous for Acrobat Reader DC Version 19.x which is a Far Eastern Languages Font package which I don't need or want. I have tried reloading Adobe Acrobat Reader DC but the same problem exists. I am still able to scan documents in jpeg and display them on my computer but can't scan English docs in PDF . I would be very grateful if someone could suggest a solution. Thanks. Peter
