Problems with the new CC Acrobat and Zip files

Just updated all my CC apps including Acrobat. Acrobat does not see zip files when I open the program and navigate to the zip file. Acrobat should see zip files and allow me to open them, and then open the acrobat files within the zip file. Ideas?? This will be a huge problem for us.

Why do you consider that Acrobat should do that? I don't recall that it ever has.

Are you on Windows or MacOS?

On Windows: You need to open the ZIP file via Windows Explorer. Opening the PDF files from inside of that Explorer window by double clicking the PDF file will extract the file temporarily and shows you in Acrobat. It's Windows handling all the stuff around.

On MacOS: As I do not have a MacOS device at my disposal, I cannot test, but I suppose the functionality is similar with Finder.
