Product registration on new pc fails - need to deactivate another computer

Ok, so I've had to upgrade my desktop and reinstalled all of my software.  Now I find that I cannot use the serial numbers as they appear to be in use by the maximum allowed computers and I need to deactivate another computer within 30 days to use the product or provide a different serial number.  I have this issue with Acrobat XI Pro and CS6 Master Collection.  I don't want to fork out a whole lot of money to purchase a new serial number for software that I already own.

After spending some time with an Adobe Agent chatting online to resolve this issue, with no success, I was directed to this community by same agent... not sure what's going on with the support team.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction... many thanks in advance.

Rocco.

Thank you try67.  I followed the link you suggested and made contact with customer support via chat.  It took no time to do an activation count reset as this person knew what she was doing unlike my previous attempt.

Many thanks!!!

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/error-activation-limit-reached-sign.html and see if that helps.

Note: Adobe Acrobat XI is an EOL application. For more info please checke the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-of-support-acrobat-xi-reader-xi.html

Regards
