Program settings

I want the program (Adobe Acrobat Desktop) to open "Maximised" when I launch the program. It's really annoying that the first thing I have to do each time I use it, is click the "Maximise" button so I can work the way I want to. Is there something I can add or change in an *.ini file or something so the program 'remembers' the last window size and opens "Maximised" each time I launch it?

    Assuming you're on Windows, create a shortcut to the application's exe file and then right-click it, select Properties, go to the Shortcut tab and under Run select "Maximized".

      This doesn't work if I launch Acrobat from the "Start" menu. The program still opens "Normal" as opposed to "Maximiszed." There must be a setting somewhere that can be changed (to open last window size) as other software publishers are able to overcome this behaviour and all I need do is "Maximixe" a window before closing and the next time I open that software, it will open to the last window size setting. It is also possible to change the size of a window by dragging window borders to the edge and it will reopen at the same size next time (not maximixed, but borders are at edge of screen, next best thing.) Not Adobe Acrobat. I  don't know if their other products behave the same way.
