Question

"Publish Comments" or "Send Comments To Review Initiator"

When I receive a PDF for commenting, how do I "Send Comments" to return my comments to the author? I cannot, for the life of me, find a "Publish Comments" or "Send Comments To Review Initiator" button. It's probably right in front of me, but please help!

Hi cordeliaa64437554,

When you open a PDF received for shared commenting, you will get the option to "Publish comments" just below the toolbar at the top.

Check the screenshot provided below:

Hello Meenakshi,

Thank you for helping me solve this issue. Unfortunately, I do not see the yellow bar at the top of my screen like in your screenshot. Please see below for a screenshot of my screen:

I've tried to show/hide different elements in View, but I cannot seem to make this bar appear.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Cordelia

hi Cordelia. I came at this in a different direction in my own query a few minutes ago :-)

Not sure which version you're using, but this might help.

the panel on the left side appears/hides when you click the control pointed at by the blue arrow.

When you open a doc that you've received for review, you *should* get the yellow bar mentioned earlier in the thread. If you don't, then something's weird :-)

If you *do* get the bar and then click the icon at the left end of it (it'll look like a note balloon most likely), the bar disappears *and* the icon (faded/blackened depending on your theme) is added at the top of that left side pane (pointed at by the red arrow). Click the icon to redisplay the yellow bar.

(My apologies for not looking up the correct nomenclature, in a hurry but wanted to mention this before I run!)
