Question re: "Copy selected text into Highlight, Cross-Out, and Underline comment pop ups"

Question

"Copy selected text into Highlight, Cross-Out, and Underline comment pop ups" is selected in preferences, but it isn't happening. Could someone help me figure out why? I have tried to make it work on a few different PDFs, none of which have any security settings.

If the security permissions do not allow content extraction then this feature won't work on those files.

If it is allowed and it's still not working, there's another issue at hand. Maybe the text isn't real or isn't properly encoded. You can test it by selecting it, copying it and then pasting into another application, such as Notepad. Does the pasted text look correct when you do so?
