Questions about New Acrobat toggle and toolbar customization

I’m currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro Enterprise (Version 2026) and have a few questions about the New Acrobat interface and its long‑term availability.	Does Adobe plan to remove the option to enable/disable the New Acrobat interface? If so, is there any timeline for when this toggle will be removed? I’m teaching a class on Acrobat basics and want to make sure I’m preparing students correctly if the classic interface is only temporary.			Quick Actions Toolbar: In the New Acrobat interface, is it possible to dock the Quick Actions toolbar at the top and customize it the way we could in the previous version?			Navigation Bar Placement: Can the Navigation Bar be moved to the top in New Acrobat, or is that only possible if the new interface is disabled?	Any guidance or official information would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure I’m teaching the most future‑proof workflow.Thank you!

Hi ​@HappyTeacher_63,Thank you for reaching out, and we understand how important it is to teach a workflow your students can rely on going forward, especially when the interface is in transition.Taking each of your questions in turn:1- The toggle to switch between the new and classic Acrobat experience is currently available through View > Enable new Acrobat (or Disable new Acrobat when in the new experience). The new Acrobat experience is the direction the product is evolving toward across desktop, web, tablet, and mobile, so for a class on Acrobat basics, anchoring the lessons on the new interface will give your students the most durable workflow.2- On the Quick Actions toolbar, in the new Acrobat experience, it is designed as a floating widget within the document view rather than a docked top toolbar. It can be repositioned by dragging it within the document view, but it does not dock to the top of the window the way the classic Quick Tools toolbar did. Customization is supported through the three-dots Options menu on the floating toolbar, where you can add, remove, reorder tools, and add dividers: https://adobe.ly/4vnvTVI3- On the Navigation Bar, the new Acrobat layout places the global bar at the top (All tools, Edit, Convert, E-sign, plus Search, Save, Print, Share) and the navigation pane on the right side (comments, bookmarks, page thumbnails, articles). The opinion expressed by quite a few users, many of whom are long-time industry professionals, is that the experimental ‘new Acrobat’ experience has been, unfortunately, proven unsuccessful and better to be discontinued. To Adobe’s credit, they give users the ability to restore the standard UI. Hopefully, this switch will always be available.
