same issue - any updates on this?  Tried uninstall/reinstall, deleting preferences, the works.  This is a brand new, clean Mac.

Mojave 10.14.3 and Acrobat DC 19.010.20091

As soon I click to open Acrobat, instant freeze and must force quit.

Use the same version of DC on my other Mac running High Sierra 10.13.6 with no issues at all.

Hi Nickn,

Sorry for the trouble caused.

As you have mentioned above, you are using the Acrobat DC 19.010.20091 version.

Try updating the application to the latest version. In the application, go to Help > Check for updates.

You may refer to the following help link for more details on updates. Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

If the issue still persists, try the troubleshooting steps provided here Troubleshoot Mac OS 10.x system errors, freezes | Adobe software

Check if that helps.

Let us know if you still experience the issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Thanks for the reply.  I had to download the update from the website since opening the app causes an instant freeze.

Updated to Acrobat DC to 19.010.20098 with same issue. Upon launching the app, I get one or two seconds before spinning beach ball and "application not responding".  Force quit which also leaves behind "Adobe Acrobat Synchronizer" process that kills CPU usage and needs to be quit as well.  Seems to be once the toolbar starts to load icons is when it freezes.

Went through the troubleshooting steps, uninstalled/reinstalled from cloud, installed update.  everything with no luck.
