I have am dealing with Documents that need to be signed by multiple Department heads and on occasion one will refuse to sign or one will be missed off and have to be added on at a later date.

when i try to send a document that has already been sent for signature and is now "SECURED" it will not accept the file.

how can i resend the document so as to keep all the signatures on the same file?

the Forms we use are edited in MS Word as docx then saved as PDF as they are engineering change notes  (ECNs). originally they would be handed out signed, scanned a very long winded and slow process to get things authorized.

Could i turn these Docx files into a Form with the signature fields, Then send for signature to multiple signers?

Yes, you can do that in Acrobat.

What would Adobe suggest as a good process for documents that may need to be resent?

You can sign the same file multiple times if it contains multiple digital signature fields. That's not a problem.

When you digitally sign a file it secures it. There's no way around that.
