Re: Why do my fill-able PDF forms auto fill every box with whatever I type in the FIRST box?

But why can't it simply be an option to autofill every item instead of forcing you to change the name. I'm trying to fill out cut sheets and they will all have the same field names; Part number, fixture type, etc. and this has consumed a good deal of my time unnecisarily. Whether it's regulated by a body of some sort or not there should 100% be an option to not do it.

    Hi isaac_7164,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.

It is a designed behaviour. If the form fields have the same name, the information from one field is automatically updated in another field.

Report this issue to the author of the form. They should have used a unique name for each field. Since they didn't, all fields will have the same value. There's no way around that.
