Reactivation of Acrobat 8 Professional - XP

I am trying to reactivate Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional on my desktop using Windows XP.  I am not sure how to do this, or if it will even still work on this system, as it will not let me do it via online or by phone, and when I called tech support they told me to come here.  Any suggestions or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Well I tried to use the program and I get a message that tells me I need to reactivate by phone.  I am provided with the phone number to call as well as my License and activation codes to give when prompted, however when I call I am told by a recording to go online and activate, that they no longer do phone activation.  So I went online and could not find the information to activate regarding this particular program.  So I called tech support and they told me to ask on the forum so lol I don't really know.  I am just trying to reactivate the program I think?

    when you first start installation, after agreeing to tos, you should be offered the option to enter your serial number.
