Read aloud in Swedish

Hi, I'm trying to get Adobe to read out my pdf in swedish but no mather how I do I only get an english voice. I have a swedish voice installed in windows but for some reason my adobe does not use this. It is not even available to choose in settings. Is there a way to fix this?

Listening to an english voice trying to read swedish words in just painful.

I think it's independent, my Windows settings uses the English "George" voice.

So is it possilble to add a new voice to Acrobat? I've tried to google it and find a way to do this but I just simply can not solve this. All the advice I can find is to add a voice in windows and it will automaticaly appear in Acrobat. But it is obvioulsy not that easy. 😤😭

I do not know the solution but I, too, wish to have a odf read in a foreign language, that I have set as my keyboard option, but I cannot figure out how to get Adobe to switch. I have looked at all the links under Preferences.

Did you edit Acrobat's Preferences?

I've tried this but I only have an english option. I can try to unclick using standard voice but there is only one option. Even though my windows version has a swedish voice installed.
