Read Out Loud in Norwegian

I am trying the Read Out Loud function in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. The pdf file is in Norwegian. I choose: File menu --->  Properties ---> Advanced ---> Reading Options ---> Norwegian ---> OK.

When starting the Read Out Loud: View ---> Read Out Loud ---> Activate Read Out Loud ---> Read This Page Only or Read to End Of Document, it starts reading the Norwegian text with the American voice, with English pronunciation.

I have tried restarting the program, and reloading the document. How do I configure Read Out Loud for reading Norwegian text in Norwegian?

You actually need the language pack installed before it will voice Norwegian. It is not loaded by default. This should help.

In case anyone else run into the same issue, here is the solution:

1. Add remove programs -> Select Acrobat

2. Then click on Change button  present next to Uninstall option. Acrobat setup dialog will be launched.

3. Now select Modify option in Acrobat setup dialog

4. In the dropdown list  select View Adobe PDF

5. Select the desired language support

6. Install the required language packs

This will let you change the language next time i launched Acrobat XI.

This procedure unfortunately does not work. When I select the Modify option there is no dropdown list to choose the desired language (norwegian). I use Windows version 10 Home.
