Reader turned off now 64 bit look

I was not able to access my agreements and our IT department said to turn off the reader under the file tab. Yes, have access to my agreements but the look and function is horrible (64 bit). How do I go back to what I had before?

Sorry for the experience. 
I hope you are referring to the Desktop version of Adobe Reader; if you are using a new look, click on the hamburger icon > Disable New Acrobat. Adobe strongly recommends keeping the New Acrobat enabled unless it significantly disrupts your workflow. We’re committed to resolving any issues you may be encountering with it.
