Receiving AcroCEF.exe-Application Error when preparing a document for e-signature

I have multiple users that are having issues when using e-signature in Adobe.  

1. Receiving Error when dragging the signature field to desired spot AcroCEF.exe - Application Error

The instruction at 0x00000000AEA85E referenced memory at 0x000000002E05B000.  The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program.  This is happening repeatedly.  Running on a Dell Latitude 7420 Windows 10 Education 22H2

2. When placing the transaction number and right-click to repeat the field on every page the field box cannot be moved.

 

Both of these issues are intermittent with these users and is not happening with all of our users.

Hi there,

 

Hope you are doing well and sorry to keep you waiting.

 

If you still experience this issue, please update the application to the recent version 23.08.20555 . Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
 
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
