Redaction tool not working

I have Adobe Acrobat. I'm trying to redact portions of a pdf. When I click the "Redact a pdf" button a popup comes on the bottom right saying "Redact a pdf is getting installed. Please wait to use this tool." It never goes passed this. I've restarted, tried updating, etc..  What to do?

Have you tried to uninstall and re-install Acrobat? It sounds like something got stuck and a clean install may be able to resovle the issue. YOu may also want to remove the "AcroCleaner" tool to remove any trace of Acrobat: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html
