Redaction will not apply, Save As not working post-edit

It looks like a lot of users are having issues with the lastest Adobe update. I can make basic edits to a pdf but if I try to save or save as a new document a white box pops up. I can use the redaction tool, but as soon as hit "Apply" a white box pops up. In both instances it freezes the program. I have gotten around the editing and saving by printing to pdf, but that doesn't work if I need to apply redactions to a document.

Adobe needs to figure out what is going on. I've tried updaing the preferences to not automatically load the Cloud save feature. I don't have any other updates available. Searching through the forums I can't find any solutions other than emailing a random Adobe representative. Really hoping not to have to search to a new pdf editing program. Send help!

Amal, I attached a snap of my preferences. They're already set as you stated above. Still was having the issue.

I emailed Sunil Soni and he sent me a patch to download to my PC. Now the program works again. Adobe should probably do another update to correct these issues since it seems there are a lot of users experiencing this.

Hi Nichole

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. As described you are getting the white pop up and unable to save the PDF file.

Please go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > General > Uncheck 'Show online storage when saving file' and 'Show online storage when opening file' > Click OK and reboot the computer once.

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Amal
