Redactions messing with W2 form

When I try to redact anything  on a W2 form the page changes. The original document, the boxes and pre-printed information, disappears and leaves only the information what was self entered. I'm guessing that the formating of the document won't allow for redactions but is there any work arounds?

You can try "re-frying" the file, ie. printing it to the Adobe PDF virtual printer (Windows only!) to create a new version, then redact it. Normally this is not a recommended procedure, but in this case it might be the only option.
