Regarding edititing pdf doc with ariel font turns font into source sans pro bug or fontproblem?

Hi, I'm new to editing pdf files. But downloaded the Adobe app for trying out editing functions. I have a pdf with ariel font that I wanted to edit with some new text and numbers. My problem is that fontsize on what I edit will not be as original and font changes on what I edit to source sanse pro. I love the idea beeing able to edit a pdf, but in my case it's a bit frustrating when it doesn't work proper and result doesn't look professional. Just now it's more efficient in my case to just rewrite whole document from beginning instead of editing. Wanted to ask this q direct to support but only way possible is here? Thanks for suggestions or solutions in advance.
