what in the world is a regenerative credit and why would I be limited on access in a given month when I'm paying a monthly subscription?

@scottm47148078 , The generative credits are for using the AI features in Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Express. Each plan gets a specific number of credits per month.  Credits are generally used one credit per generation. So, if you use Adobe Firefly and type in a prompt and generate, it will create four versions of an image based on that prompt and deduct one credit from your monthly balance.

To add to this: if you used up your credits you can still continue to generate, but you will lose speed, as you will get allocated less resources on the generating servers. In addition, it is a free add to your subscription, as before Firefly existed, you did (I did) pay the same amount, without the credits.
