Remove Acrobat DC from Creative Cloud Updates

(Where is the Creative Cloud app forum, anyway?)

After losing my 32-bit Acrobat Pro app to Catalina I either downloaded an Acrobat DC trial or otherwise checked it out at Adobe's site (don't remember which). The important thing is that Acrobat DC is not present on this MacBook Pro; I have Acrobat DC on two other Macs with a full Creative Cloud subscription, so I am using the free Acrobat Reader app on this Mac.

In the Creative Cloud app, Updates tab, Acrobat DC shows as an available update with v19.0 update is available, albeit with a blue "Try" button.

How can I remove the annoying Acrobat DC notification from the Creative Cloud app? Thanks!

Have you tried logging in with your AdobeID through the CC Dektop app or by going online to manage your current plan(s) in adobe.com?

Yes, of course I'm logged into the Photography Plan on this MB Pro, otherwise I wouldn't be able click the CC icon in the menu bar to see the so-called available updates! And my account page at adobe.com shows just what one would expect: Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Bridge for desktop, and the mobile apps Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Premiere Clip. There is no mention of Acrobat DC because Acrobat DC cannot be part of the Photography Plan.

Hi,

I am not sure if , when you lost the Adobe Acrobat 32bit, was due to the upgrade on top of the old macOS or a fresh install of Catalina where you had to reinstall all your programs again.

In either case, did you tried the Adobe Acrobat and Reader Cleaner and Repair Tool ?

There may be old traces of that program .
