Remove AI Assistant From the Tool Bar or Give An Option To Hide It

Adobe,

 

Please remove the AI Assistant from the top tool bar in Adobe or give the app users a way to hide that feature.  I'm sure there is a group of people who find this tool useful and I am well aware there is a check box in the settings page that claims to remove the AI functions but it does not.  I'm kindly asking that the Adobe engineers just make that check box work so when it is selected, the AI features tool stops poping up in the top corner when ever I open a document, the tool bar button can be completely hidden, and make the AI just hide in the background for when there is a chance the end user would like to enable this feature.  A lot of mature, professional, and understanding software developers take into consideration that feedback from the end users is paramount to developing a viable program.  What is happening now is not just pothetic but  unprofessional and detrimental to most people who use Adobe Acrabat.

 

Please upvote this in the hopes that Adobe gets up and fixes their stuff.

    Add the below registry key on your machines.

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown

    Create a new D-Word key: bEnableGentech

    Value: 0

    This will currently prevent the AI ​​Assistant toolbar.
    Setting the value to 1 will enable the AI ​​Assistant.

    I'm assuming that would work if Adobe Acrobat was installed on a personal computer.  I believe the majority of people experiancing this issue are using hardware with a lot less or no admin access to edit the registry.  These suggestions are helpful but it would be better if Adobe got off their ass and fixed their [abuse removed by moderator]

    SIR:

    I find the AI Assistant button extremely distracting while reading and do not like it. No Sir, I do not!

    I believe it to be unnecessary, just add it to the tool bar or some such.

    Also, the AI Assistant appears on my screen while reading a document that AI Assistant does not even support (i.e., a document of over 200 pages). So, here it is even more unnecessary. I get your desire to have people use your AI Assistant but please cease with the pushiness of it all. It is unbecoming of a software firm of your talent and stature.

      This is actually worked!  Create a .reg file with the following text and import it as an admin.  If you reboot and it comes back you must have a GPO thats overwritting your registry:

      If you wish to turn off the feature, you can do it using the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/disable-generative-ai.html. 

      However, the option to hide the feature is not available. The feedback has been shared with the team.

        This solution simply does not work. Every time I disable the AI Assistant it reappears the next time I start Acrobat. Infuriating, especially when I'm presenting an document on screen!!
