Remove formatting in comment with Copy Selected Text Highlight

Acrobat Pro 2017 on Mac Mojave

So, PDFs have a lot of enters/returns...they are single lines of text. So when you enable Copy Selected Text into Comment you get a bunch of comments with text that looks like this:

How many times have you exclaimed, “What a small world!”? The speed at

which we travel, send goods, and communicate with people in other parts of

the world seems to erase the tremendous distances that separate us.

When what you really need is:

How many times have you exclaimed, “What a small world!”? The speed at which we travel, send goods, and communicate with people in other parts of the world seems to erase the tremendous distances that separate us.

How do you tell Acrobat to automatically ignore that pesky spacing...

At the moment I CMD-C all the text into the chrome search bar CMD-V back into the comment... there has to be a better way.
